Starred Robin is a spacious and tranquil self catering cottage situated in
a quiet security village in Knysna, a natural paradise of lush,
indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches. Knysna is
situated in the heart of the Garden Route, Western Cape, South
Africa. The
elusive Starred Robin is often seen from this cottage. Knysna
nestles on the banks of a breathtakingly beautiful lagoon, now a
protected marine reserve that is home to the endangered and
fragile sea horse and over 200 species of fish.
The house consists of two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, a
study, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and
laundry facilities. There is an open-plan living area with a TV
leading onto a private patio with seating, a portable braai, one
lock-up garage and a carport leading into the house. DStv is
also available on request at an additional cost. All linen is
provided and a housekeeper is available on request at an extra
charge.
Beaches, lakes, mountains and rivers provide endless opportunity
for leisure and outdoor adventure. The town has craft shops,
flea markets and cosy cafés with small-town charm and
hospitality. The harbour area is also home to most of Knysna’s
nightlife, with several restaurants and clubs where patrons can
enjoy a meal while watching the sunset over The Heads.
